Jelly Tots – Adventure is Anywhere Campaign

Youth Dynamix was recently tasked with bringing the Jelly Tots adventure to children all around SA and initiating trial of the new Yogilicious Jelly Tots. Youth Dynamix realized that creating an unforgettable adventure experience was of utmost importance for a lasting impression in the mind of today’s children. A colourful, exciting, adventure Inflatable was uniquely designed to represent the Jelly Tots brand.

Youth Dynamix conceptualized and created the whole Jelly Tots experience with the brand equity at the heart of the campaign. The concept was to create an impacting alluring tour with a high level of brand awareness and emotional bonding with consumers. Consumers were also given the opportunity to trial the new Yogilicious flavoured Jelly Tots. The inflatable which was also conceptualized and designed by Youth Dynamix, is designed for adventure, with tunnels, slides, ball ponds and a treasure chest filled with Jelly Tots treasure.

Youth Dynamix handled every aspect of the campaign from ideation and conceptualisation to the careful selection and booking of venues to the training and selection of the promoters and entertainment team. Activities included the Jelly Tots Worm Inflatable, Face painters, balloon benders and interactive dance competitions with the Jelly Tots Worm himself! Youth trained Promoters were also on hand to ensure that the event ran smoothly and ensuring the children’s safety at all times. At each event the Jelly Tots worm character makes numerous appearances throughout the day allowing the children to connect with the brand on an emotional level.

To compliment the fun around the campaign, Youth Dynamix conceptualized the creation of educational and fun booklets that the children receive once they have completed the adventure inflatable journey. The Adventure is Anywhere booklet has various fun but also educational activities for the children to complete. This ensured that the Adventure Zone and the booklets all link back to the over arching big idea of Adventure is Anywhere with Jelly Tots. The combination of using an experiential campaign and an educational aspect to the campaign makes sure that the whole campaign leaves a lasting impression in the consumers’ minds due to the use of all the senses and encouraging the educational activities.

Youth Dynamix combining the experiential fun campaign with the educational tool is dual marketing at its best – ensuring buy in from the parents as well as the childen.

Mandy (Mom): “The new sweets containing calcium are a great idea, the inflatable is also lovely it is really entertaining for the children and gets them doing exercise.”

The multi-experiential Jelly Tots Adventure zone is bringing to life the fact that Adventure is Anywhere with Jelly Tots.  The results have been incredible with the Inflatable and the Jelly Tots entertainment crew being a hit at The Rand Show, Ushaka Marine world and various malls around the GTG area and it will soon be hitting more venues in KZN area. The foot traffic to each event has been high from passing traffic to consumers who saw the adverts in the Jhb Child and Durban Child magazines and specially came to see what the campaign was all about. Youth Dynamix ensured the reach of the campaign through strategic media placement in appropriate magazines.

Creating a layered, multi sensory campaign which is also integrated with other marketing elements is all in a day’s work for Youth Dynamix. Creating an experience for children which will stay in their minds is the reason why we keep doing it!
